Kimmo Rasila joins the Board at IT Mill

IT Mill Ltd. invited Mr. Kimmo Rasila, BSc (Econ.), to join its Board of Directors as of 12 April 2007. Rasila will strengthen management at IT Mill by bringing in a valuable outside perspective, particularly in sales, marketing, internationalization and communications. IT Mill’s lead product is IT Mill Toolkit, a software package for developing business applications that will run on PCs and the newest mobile phones alike. “The people here at IT Mill know their business and the product is very interesting indeed on the international market”, notes Rasila. “Joining the Board was an easy decision”. “We are very excited that Kimmo Rasila accepted our offer to join the Board”, says IT Mill CEO Joonas Lehtinen. “He brings in a great deal of expertise that we have been lacking and will help us take things up a notch. We are expecting a great deal from the opportunity to work together.” IT Mill is a pioneer both in Finland and abroad in the new generation of Internet technologies, and the latest WWW technologies have opened up additional opportunities for businesses to take advantage of the Internet in their information systems. “IT Mill is going through a period of very strong growth at home and abroad right now”, observes Rasila. “I think I can contribute the extra know-how needed to meet the challenges ahead”. Kimmo Rasila has a multifaceted career under his belt in the Finnish IT world – 27 years of experience that has included management positions with IBM both in Finland and internationally. He is currently a professional board member and runs ExecNet Oy, a company he started himself.
