In Press: IT Mill Seeks More Employees to Boost Growth
2008-02-07
In its interview with IT Mill CEO Joonas Lehtinen Turun Sanomat describes the company and its challenges in finding new employees that are on the very best level technologically.
"We need real specialists who can give advice to other specialists working for other software houses. A mere master's degree is no guarantee of expertise", says Lehtinen in the interview. According to Lehtinen one reason for the situation is that females are still scarce in the ICT-sector. "We would gladly welcome female coworkers. Half of the population and thereby half of the talent are wasted nowadays", Lehtinen describes.
Turun Sanomat is the third largest 7-day newspaper in Finland. With 280 000 daily readers, Turun Sanomat is the most read newspaper in South-West Finland.
