The goal set by IT Mill and company CEO Joonas Lehtinen is to be the world's best in browser interface software development. The company is purely a technology provider and is, according to Lehtinen, the only company in Finland to focus on browser interface development tools.
Everything that IT Mill does revolves around the Toolkit application developed by itself. IT Mill also offers an upgrade option to allow companies to transfer their products to this new technology. According to Joonas Lehtinen, the IT Mill Toolkit combines two strong features. The product is the only browser interface development tool that is entirely Java-based and effectively ensures data security.
Lehtinen adds that a Rich Internet Applications boom is ongoing globally. He thinks that safety issues are starting to be paid more and more attention - fortunately. "At some point, the world will wake up to data security problems," predicts Lehtinen.
Data security gaps can appear in software when system logic is transferred to browsers, says Lehtinen. According to him, logic is never transferred to a browser in IT Mill applications. No security gaps are created, as the intruder is unable to explore or change the program source code in any way.
